We came to the last Mother's Day at 1 o'clock as a party of six. First, the service was quick and friendly, but after the drinks were served everything was changed. We received the main course over a period of 8 minutes in 5 portions. When we ordered drinks again, the waitress lasted long, or the orders were simply forgotten. When the table was cleaned, the waitress polluted the blouse of our guest with fat / heaviness. A simple apology was all she offered, then she never returned. The dessert menu, desserts and check lasted over 40 minutes, although we tried to catch the attention of the staff. They seemed very busy socializing in the taproom while the main dining room was ignored. The food...
Wir haben das Gasthaus Kalteis im Rahmen der Mostvierteler Feldversuche besucht 3 Wirte 3 Versuche und Platz 3 für Kalteis. Bedienung bemüht und freundlich, Küche ordentlich aber ganz sicher nicht auf Haubenniveau . Auf dem Preisniveau absolut keine nennenswerten Überraschungen. Trüffel? Höchstens sichtbar... Insgesamt: Passt vielleicht als Mittagsmahl auf der Durchfahrt. Völlig gerissen hat 's die Unterkunft. Zwar sauber, aber das laute und sauerstoffarme Einzelzimmer 10 m², wenn überhaupt ... für zwei hochpreisig zahlende Gäste hat uns mehr als enttäuscht. Keine Empfehlung! .
This was my second visit to Kalteis and chosen as the venue to celebrate my 50th birthday. Quite simply I would rate this as one of the best. After a stunning meal last year and getting to know Hubert and Sonja we decided to let Hubert choose a menu for us giving him free rein to showcase his skills and the locally sourced produce that he uses. What followed was a gastronomic experience that I will never forget. Thank you both for a superb evening and making my 50th something that I will never forget! With very best wishes Mark
This was our second visit to Gasthof Kalteis our last being 5 years ago. The menu gave a good choice from homely favourites to gourmet surprises. Everything tasted great and was served by friendly courteous staff. A good wine list allowed us to try a wine that we can rarely find a St Laurent. The meal was perfect in every way although a little more expensive than we would normally pay. Réservez une table maintenant
