Kam Fay Chinese Restaurant

Booked a table for 10 family and friends, including 3 children under 12. The place is small but clean, with a nice relaxed ambience. We were seated at the end of the dining room adjacent to the kitchen at a large round table.Due to our numbers we ordered entree first, that included wantons, vegetable spring rolls and sate chicken. All dishes were delivered within a reasonable time and all were consumed with gusto. The children especially enjoying the wanton and chicken.Our main meals were reflective of our individual tastes and historical likes, such a garlic prawns, beef in black bean sauce, szechuan chicken, pork, noodles and fried rice. We've Regularly visited kam fay over last 20 years (including at their previous premises) and have to say that what they produce is good honest Chinese food and reasonable value compared to other places around,Particularly good dim sims and doesn't matter whether they steamed or fried. Never had a bad meal from here and consistory good for what it is, moved a way from this place a couple of years ago but after trying the Chinese joints in our new area still travel back to kam day for dinner and tAkeaway.One of the best eateries in Cleveland and Redlands.

Ordered a take away beef chop suey and barbecue ribs . Both totally inedible . The beef was like rubber undercooked and smelt off. It was tasteless and bland . The ribs weren't ribs but large pieces of pork fat smothered in sweet and sour batter. Probably the worst Chinese we've ever tasted. It's a shame because this place used to be very good, it's just had so many owners you don't know what's next. We certainly won't go again.

Like a lot of Chinese restaurants, it lacks a certain ambience, but its fresh, clean and a great place to get together with friends or family to get together over some honest and tasty food. It's not big inside, so with diners at a few tables it becomes a hive of activity. Staff are friendly and attentive, servings are generous and well priced. A few favourites, pork ribs in plum sauce and the king prawn omelette are great. Réservez une table maintenant

Food was very well priced. Most dishes under $20.00.BYO but softdrink and juice available by jug or glass. Not too busy with things everywhere..interior quite basic..but clean and the staff were very friendly..Our waitress had quite good English and was flexible with our seating arrangements...would definitely eat their again...great family restaurant

Jam Fay is one of the nicest great value restaurants in Cleveland. We regularly either eat in or order from them. The staff are always nice and friendly and the food is always fresh and well presented. Jam Fay is great value for families and I highly recommend them if you want a tasty Chinese meal.

Authentic Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. Menu choice as good as F-Valley.Was a little sceptical when we first dined as the place was empty but the food soon brought us around.Have dined at all of Cleveland's Chinese restaurants and this is the best by far.

So I took my family out for mother's day and we were served by polite and hardworking staff. The food is made with absolute effort and tasted delicious. This place is the only restaurant I get my chinese from and now I cant stop coming! Réservez une table maintenant

My husband and i have lived in Redland bay and still traveled to Cleveland to get our Chinese. When we have visited family and gotten Chinese we have not found one the beats Kam Fay, worth the drive.

We tried take from here for the first time and were not disappointed. Good portion sizes and fresh tasting Chinese. This will be our new Chinese take away favourite.
