Prebooked a table to celebrate a birthday. There were lots of staff but all ignoring our table of 16. A few guests in frustration walked up to the bar to order their own drinks and they still didnt take the hint. We were there for 30 mins before we were able to order drinks and then they took 20 mins to deliver them, virtually one at a time and they didnt get the order right. It was another 20 mins before we were able to hail a water and ask if we could order our food. Sadly the food was not good. Our meal for 2 people was over $70 but we still had to pay a further $4 each to upgrade to fried rice which was stodgy and had nothing else in it apart from egg. The chicken was quite good but the...
Eating at this restaurant is fine, but the service is terrible! This was our second visit and unfortunately, it was just as bad as the first time. We had a table for four and immediately received miso soup and salad. It took 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and it could have taken even longer if I hadn't complained. We ordered our meals right away because we were hungry, but we ended up waiting for 50 minutes. They even forgot to bring our rice. The teppanyaki table was very busy, and it seemed like all the chefs were focused on it, forgetting about our order.
This is quite a new restaurant in the outdoor dining area.We had the lunch time "Makey special" which costs $ 22.95 and is cheaper and available from 11am to 4;30pm.This included Steak and Prawns grilled in front of you with Teppan Vegetables Steamed Rice, Kamikaze Salad, Miso Soup and Ginger Sesame & Mustard Sauce.The meal was quite good but our asian chef wasn't overly friendly (surly in fact) and didn't put on any show as has happened at all prior times I have enjoyed a Teppanyaki Grill.
Went with my adult son. Had the best melt in your mouth calamari . he commented that he didn't even know calamari tasted like that, as in so good as he had never had it that good. Was amazing .The teppanyaki was also very delicious..... delicious, even though it was a sat and they were quite busy .We saw the chefs do some tricks with food for some other people and that was fun also .Would sure go again .

Took my boys here for lunch these school holidays and was impressed. The chef put on a really great show for them with lots of tricks with the food and they loved it! He was very friendly as were all the staff and the food was amazing! Have experienced teppanyaki many times before down the coast and in town and I thought for a local location this place was very good.
My son was very keen to go to a food throwing show at a Teppanyaki restaurant for his birthday. This restaurant was handy being at Garden City Town Square. The staff were so polite and attentive and the show was great. The kids, and adults loved it! Food was delicious abs big portions too. We'll be back! Thanks for a great experience.
Fun friendly atmosphere with great food. Had the benefit of sitting at the BBQ ( best spot). Bruce our chef was delightful and entertaining. Gluten free catered for, as well as seafood allergies. Suitable for all ages . We will be back .
Came here with my husband and dad. Service was very quick and and staff were friendly. We got the lunch deal with is fantastic value for money and delicious. Overall, very happy with my experience and would dine here again.

To say there is not a lot to choose from in Surfers Paradise if you are after something nice is the understatement of the century.
