We spent an evening in Halifax and were looking for something different from the usual Nando’s or Frankie and Benny’s. A quick glance at TripAdvisor led us to Kamran Balti House. Don’t be put off by the staff standing outside; just head up the stairs. We were served poppadoms and dips at our table right away. We ordered a selection of appetizers to sample various dishes, and they were fantastic. The main courses were also quite good. All in all, it cost us £20 per person, including a pint of Kobra beer. The staff is very attentive and will happily recommend a dish if you’re unsure or want to try something new. If you enjoy curry, you won’t be disappointed. It was brilliant!
Absolutely fantastic. Called in with a friend after we had been out in Halifax for a few beers. Was greeted and made to feel welcome, we served FREE poppadoms and pickle tray, then we had 2 curries with sides and 2 alcoholic drinks. Every thing was so fresh, I can not fault anything at all. Yes the alcohol was abit pricey at £4 a pint. But overall it was the best Indian food I have ever eaten, without a shadow of doubt. Food prices are very average, but The food is 10/10. Great food, great service, great experience.
We dined on new year's Eve as a party of 7 with family. Food and service was excellent. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious! Table was nicely laid and great atmosphere. Lovely staff. We were amazed when we got the bill excellent value for money. Definitely worth a visit take out or eat in. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great night x
Excellent food and wonderful staff. As a family we've been coming to Kamran for years and we've never had a bad curry. Great value for money and a real personal touch. I lived in New Zealand for a year and when I got back the first meal I wanted was from Kamran. Réservez une table maintenant
