The chicken shawarmas were so juicy and flavorful — perfectly seasoned and wrapped just right. Every bite had that smoky, grilled flavor I love. And the lamb shank with rice? *this review is overdue* my father and I went to kandahar grill to place an order for an impromptu get-together we had in our house. I am absolutely satisfied with their turnaround that gave ~1 day for 20 people. the food was hot and ready for picking up and I remember that they help me bring the pills to my car, thank you young! we had more guests than expected and there was still food left! our guests praised the food and mentioned the long-defense was delicious, kebabs were juicy and sauces on the side were on point! The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance MashaAllah. I think it’s a great spot for families. The staff were really helpful. They make you feel like family. The Mantoo has to be the best I ever had. Beautiful Afghani cuisine joint for all the non vegetarians who like to satisfy their tastebuds cravings…?However, dirty restrooms , with water splashed all over the floor and basin. And unflushed WC? .Dirty baby highchair straps with old food particles visible from the past .Sauce was watery and honestly I didn’t find any taste in the kebabs.We ordered the kebab platter with bread $34.99)?. The food was delicious. A taste of Afghanistan in Long Island. Great food and halal. We drove all the way from the Bronx after seeing the pics on social media. I was not disappointed and it was worth the drive. Can?t wait to visit again.

The food at Kandahar Grill in Hicksville is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is always spotless, and they have TVs showing sports, making it a great place to enjoy your meal. It's my go-to spot for lunch!

I would give Kandahar Grill (Hicksville) a zero if possible. The portion sizes on the menu were small, the meat was tough and rubbery, and the Baklava was soggy.
