Kanpai Japanese Steak Sushi

I really didn’t want to leave a review but I can’t stop thinking about how dirty this restaurant was. We stopped there yesterday and planned to get some sushi but the place was filthy! As soon as you walk in it smells bad… like rotten, burnt food. Everything was sticky, the floors, the tables. The menus were dirty. Husband went to the bathroom and it was really dirty too. We just left without ordering because there was no way I was going to eat anything there, especially raw fish. After reading reviews of people getting food poisoning it seems like we made the right decision. The owners need to really deep clean this place before someone really gets sick. Disgusting.

The last time I visited Kanpai Japanese Steakhouse there was a little bit of a wait. I'm not really complaining about that though as that is understandable. One thing that I did not like is that we were seated at a table with 2 other parties that we did not know. I understand that this is how seating works at Hibachi especially when the place is packed and space is limited. However, the table was rather small and there wasn't much room on the side of the restaurant where we were seated. The server was young and maybe new. It appeared that she was inexperienced and had a hard time keeping up with everyone's orders. The food wasn't bad.

The food was decent, but definitely overpriced. The sushi was a highlight, surpassing the quality of the entrees. However, I was incorrectly charged for rice—$3 each for four servings—despite it being included with the entrees. The floors were extremely slippery, making it difficult for my family member with a disability to navigate safely. While the tables were wiped down, they weren't clean and had a sticky residue. Additionally, an automatic 18% gratuity was added for a party of six, even though we had three separate bills. All in all, this was my first and last visit.

A cool indoor pond where my girls were distracted while we waited. Felt musty/unclean inside. Restrooms were littered with toliet paper. Food was overpriced. They were out of calamari. My daughter's teriyaki chicken was simple, veggies were way too salty. They had dreached my order of Pink Lady with too much sauce it had become too sweet. My husband's Spider roll had a werid taste. Serive was great though. She was pleasant and quick! Very disappointed otherwise. Réservez une table maintenant

We experienced no wait time, and the service was quick and friendly. Our server was attentive, and the food was abundant and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was pleasant, with ample staff to attend to our needs. As for parking, it's a bit tight in the front, but overall very convenient.

The price was ridiculous. This is the worst place. Rice DOEST NOT come with your meal they charge you for white rice. the food was not good the yum sauce was very sweet. waste of 80$ i would not come here to eat with your family!!

This is my favorite spot for sashimi above all others. The presentation is consistently stunning, and the fish is of excellent quality. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
