Kapadokya Birol Restaurant

Ich war mit meiner Familie am Sonntag Abend im Kapadokya essen und hatte eine gemischte Erfahrung.Die Bedienung war zwar auf Zack, allerdings fehlte es ein bisschen an Gastfreundlichkeit. Es schien, als wäre an diesem Abend jemand verstorben oder die gesamte Belegschaft war in einem Ernst-sein-Streik. Unterm Strich gab es zu Wenig osmanisches Lächeln und zu viel Dienst nach Vorschrift.Das Design des Restaurants ist etwas angestaubt. Die Speisekarte war "Asbach uralt" und als Deko gab es Plastikblumen auf den Tischen und bunte Teppiche an den Wänden. Charmant ist die Innenausstattung jedenfalls nicht. Soviel zum ersten Eindruck. Aber wir waren ja zum Essen da. Wir hatten Dürumrolle, Falaffelrolle und einen Kinderteller bestellt. Alles in allem war es geschmacklich ganz okay, allerdings relativ trocken. Insbesondere die Falafel waren staubtrocken. Die Preise waren relativ niedrig, d.h. entsprach der normalen Erwartung.Wir sahen allerdings, dass jede Menge leckere Grillgerichte serviert wurden. Es gibt einen Holzkohlegrill. Wahrscheinlich sind die Fleischgerichte vom Grill richtig gut, aber das hatten wir leider nicht bestellt.Daher kann ich hier und heute nur eine durchschnittlich gute Bewertung hinterlassen.

Having gone to an Indian restaurant the first evening of our two-day stay in Hildesheim, we chose a Turkish place the second evening, and were very glad we did. Kapadokya is outstanding. We had the Icli kofte, made from ground meat with bulgur, as a...starter. One of our main dishes was the Makamali turlu, aubergines with zucchini, potatoes, and tzatziki. The other main dish was the Adana kebap with pommes and yoghurt. Everything had bright flavors and freshness. The red Turkish wine, Pammukale, was excellent too. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was full of regular customers, all warmly greeted like “family.” We highly recommend this place.

Treffe mich hier häufiger mit Freunden. Das Menü geht schon teilweise Richtung Perser. Besonders die (Lamm)-Hack Spieße sind super lecker und besonders begeistert bin ich immer vom Brot. Das sollte man auf jeden Fall essen. Parken kann man übrigens auch gut in der Querstraße Pepperworth

I went there with sister and mother in May on my mother's birthday. We were all three very satisfied: Corona regulations regarded very friendly/polite personnel tasty food short waiting times fair prices I highly recommend this restaurant

Very friendly and attentive service, authentic Turkish menu. I have been here few times over the years and it always impresses me for the great food.
