Kaplan Am Kurpark – Cafe-konditorei

We visit this Konditorei most days when we're staying in Bad Tatzmansdorf. Its a must do on a sunny afternoon following a morning wallowing in the hot pools of Avita, a short walk, choice from a really good range of cakes and ice creams washed down by a glass of prosecco. Just what you need to set you up for the rest of the afternoon spend bubbling you day away in the hot pools.

My mother stayed in Bad Tatzmannsdorf many times in the past and recommended a visit to the Konditorei; indeed, we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the coffee and dessert were delicious and we can only warmly recommend Kaplan's to anyone in need of a boost of energy.

Service is professional and fast. Patron is most of the time there. Food is well prepared and coffee excellent. On a sunny day it's nice on the terrace. Try the so called Zimtschnecke a special austrian pastry with an Melange or Espresso.

When ever we stay in Bad Tatzmannsdorf we go here every other day, even before we check into our hotel. The chocolate mouse cake is to die for... and I probably will!

Lovely place to have cakes or ice cream or both. A great find while we stayed nearby. We also noticed that they serve breakfast from early morning.
