This casual neighbourhood bar and restaurant was a fabulous find. Delightfully friendly staff who go out of there way to help and excellent food of the highest quality, made for a great meal, off the tourist track. In addition to a good range of pintxos, rationes, sandwiches and salads, the menu includes a number of excellent meals, usually reserved for fine dining establishments including confit of duck, beef cheeks in red wine, fresh squid cooked in olive oil and mirepoix of vegetables, and a platter of freshly grilled vegetables. We shared the squid and vegetable platter. Both were superb really fresh and packed with flavour. The kitchen is open all day which is a real bonus for families...
Es la primera vez que vengo a este lugar a comer, hemos pedido sitio y el camarero de primeras nos dijo que no había sitio, y eso que dentro habian un par de mesas libres. Después un buen servicio y la comida buena pero el camarero ma ha vuelto a liar, ha roto unos platos a nuestro lado. Por lo demás, es agradable el lugar pero no increíble.
What a fab surprise! Outdoor seating, all locals enjoying a beautiful evening, and the food did not disappoint. This is not the restaurant with all the stars you see it was your basic off the path local food stop. Again, you will not be disappointed at €2 to €2.80 for a plate. I recommend it highly for the experience it was.
