I visited this restaurant last week and ordered the beef suqaar with a sambusa. Everything was packed with flavor and well-seasoned. They didn't have the traditional beef for this dish, so they used thinly shaved ribeye instead. I wish I could have experienced the authentic version, but sometimes you have to make do with what's available. The sauces they provide are quite spicy, so I recommend doing a little taste test before you dive in. I'm not a huge fan of spice, but I can handle a bit. The sauce that came with the sambusa definitely had some heat, but it also had sweet notes that were really enjoyable. Overall, I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu!
Omg, the food here is so good. I want to try everything. Even my teenager liked it, so it's kid friendly. She had the burger, and she said it was especially good even before she had the outstanding sauce. I had the safari roll (chicken in flatbread), and that was SO good. Somali tea was exceptional. Very reasonably priced, so I can come here often. I'm adding this restaurant to my favorite restaurants list. Kid friendliness: Kid friendly food options staples plus options if you want to pushing the envelope a bit.
Without a doubt, this is the best spot for delicious Somali cuisine. The food was flavorful, delicious, and plentiful. The service was exceptionally welcoming. I took my entire family, and the variety of options made everyone incredibly happy. We ordered the Suqaar, Karibu burger, Sambusa, and chicken wings. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a Somali tea for the road. I'm a very happy and satisfied customer, and I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Some regulars recommended the Philly. Blew me away, one sandwich was enough for my friend and I to split. I love the free refills! Went back a 2nd time, got the Safari Roll. Went back 3rd time, got a combo of chooza and suqaar. Both were good. I preferred suqaar. 4th time, tried the Wild Safari. Delicious!
The flavorful goat meat and cheese dishes were complemented by friendly service. The management took the time to check on our food and service, ensuring everything was satisfactory. I would highly recommend this place—10/10! If you’ve never tried Somali food before, this is the perfect spot to start.
