What do I expect when I go to an inn? Home cooking, maybe two fish dishes and several meat dishes, but what is offered here is just good, very good food at a very high level. As a starter there was gamberone in prosecco butter on rocket with chili, garlic and grilled white bread, a poem. Firm to the bite, fantastic taste. Then as an entrée, you don't treat yourself to anything else, briefly seared shashimi tuna on a bed of soba noodles with poached spinach leaves and avocado. Freshest goods, wonderfully prepared, best Shashimi quality. My wife's main course: char in one piece, cooked on a pine board with grilled potatoes, vegetables and rocket pesto.
