Kartoffelkuche Schenk ein

We wanted to eat some traditional German food so we came here and we're not disappointed. My wife had kartoffelpuffer with smoked salmon, honey mustard sour cream, I had rinderroulade with red cabbage mashed potatoes. We both really liked our food the...portions were generous. As it was a warm evening we sat outside, which added to the ambience. Most of the staff, who are very friendly welcoming speak pretty good English. I also liked the local beer they served here.

Both these restaurants in Bad Homburg serve well-cooked dishes, mainly based on potato. However, if you respond to a warm welcome on the phone and cheerful, helpful service when you get there, make sure you pick the one in the Audenstrasse! We ate in both during our stay in Bad Homburg and all three generations of our family much preferred this one. By the way, some of the photos uploaded here are in fact of the other. Kartoffelküche.

Nice cozy place, with outdoor dining. Better suited for small groups than large gatherings. The Hamburger 'german way', with fried potatoes instead of the bun was hazardous but made to perfection. I would have gone back if I was not with a large group of 10 people for most of my two weeks in BH

Great food and beer good service ...plates such as handkas Wiener schnitzel kartoffelpufferburger! You won’t be disappointed

Really good food. Potato burger awesome! Can highly recommend:-) Really calm place . Children friendly
