a unique and extremely interesting experience as we visit here from another country. we visited the evening meal on Tuesday and the lambs were fantastic. the flesh was something of the tenderest I ever had, and the gravure was very well seasoned....The potatoes of the maic were perfect resistance. but the absolute best part was the beautiful and tasty desert. I had the palowa, which was not only delicious, but quite openly an artwork. my man had the sticky date with Macadamia nuts and caramel that was from this world! that is what they would normally find in a 5-star restaurant in the usa. the inhabitants of katanning and surroundings are so happy to have this jewel of a restaurant in this w...

The canteen was originally put in place for the truckies and staff that set up for the sales the next day. It's become the place to go on a Tuesday night. Great large meals. Roasts, steaks, chops, seafood and much more. Do not attend if you are vegetarian or on a diet. BYO drinks. A good spot for breakfast on a Wednesday morning as well. The sheep sale starts at 8am, worth a look.

Julie and her personal chef prepared a delicious meal and served it with warm smiles. The lamb shanks were cooked perfectly. Don't forget to finish with the sticky date pudding or pavlova, they were fantastic! Bring your own drinks.

Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning special in the huge sheep sales places. good eating, massive help in an unusual environment.
