I was recommended by my friend to try this sushi store. I was impressed by how clean, neat and organized it was when I first walked inside. The 1-2-3 step menus (such a good and neat handwriting!!! give clear instruction as how to order the foods and make the ordering process much easier and make the customized foods more unique to satisfy your cravings!!! What impresses me more is the food itself. I ordered a bowl of Hawaiian classic and a fried oysters, can?t believe howyummy they are!! Salmon and tuna are very fresh, and so as all the other ingredients come with them to make it an perfect combination for my lunch!! The prices are very reasonable with the portion and variety of ingredients they serve. Youcan always customize it to meet ur diet needs. The lady taking the order and serving the foods is very friendly and attentive to your request with big smiles. Overall, it is a lovely place for friends and family to hang out at, and I willdefiantly come back to it again to try more of other foods!!!
I recommend visiting the Tropea Way location instead. The staff at this location isn?t as friendly. Can?t hear them, the staff mumbles. They don?t ask if it?s Take-Out or Dine-in. You automatically get the plastic bowl. This is unlike the other location. I did plan on dining in. I ended up leaving the location after receiving the plastic bowl and ate at the beach. First, I asked for lettuce. She already filled the bowl with rice before I asked for anything, and took a hugesigh before dumping it back in. When I asked for salmon, I was confused why there was a half spoonful total of meat. It looked like way less than what is usual. Then I figured out she wasn?t going to tell me I needed to clarify BOTH aresalmon. I paid, tipped, and left. And the bowl was the least impressive of the dozens of Kazu Sushi bowls I?ve had. Just go to the Tropea Way location!
Delicious! I had the tuna lovers poke bowl which I really enjoyed, my daughter had the chicken katsu rice bowl and we shared pork and spicy beef dumplings. Service was quick with warm and friendly staff. Everything was great, and we will definitely be back when we visit JAX beach again.
