This review is 10+ years coming...If you appreciate coffee, you need to give these guys a shot. It doesn 't get much better than this shop. These guys Diedrich are responsible for what third wave coffee is nowadays and they still roast it to perfection.Thanks for the mexican Gesha and the pourover instructions last evening.Grinded some up this morning and used a kalita wave because I cant be bothered with the v60 right now These beans are interesting, lacking smell when the fresh bag was opened, very soft to grind compared to what I usually get... However it just brewed perfectly, perfect bloom, the smells came alive on the bloom, I gave it about 45 seconds then did 3 pours...One of the best...

Best coffee shop I’ve been to in my many years living in Orange County. Martin has an amazing talent for roasting. I’ve tried so many different roasters (online and local) and none have compared to the beans I buy here to brew at home. The staff is always warm and friendly. This business has all the benefits of a small business with the efficiency and professionalism of a large chain (which I thought it was based on the quality during my first visit). But the owners are decidedly keeping this gem local, and I am grateful for it. I’d give more stars if I could. Top-5 OC business in my book

In my top 3 best coffee places to go to. Love their history of fresh organic coffee bean roasting.I usually get a large red eye coffee and a “grasshopper latte.All of their lattes that I’ve had always are well made and cups full.The pastries Taste good but somehow they seem to be on the dry side and tend to crumble with every bite.Prices are actually ok.I definitely recommend this place

I'm an old Diedrich employee and worked for Martin back in the early days.When I'm in town I love swinging by and seeing the place. Occasionally I'll see a familiar face in the crowd, which makes me happy.I can however say Tustin is not what it used to be, which is sad.Food: 5/5
