Service was way too slow on a Saturday afternoon. The manager, Alyssa, decided to only schedule herself that day and then get an attitude when we complain about the 20 mins it?s taking her to grab one drink (bc she forgot what the other drink was so shedropped one and took ANOTHER 20 mins to get the other drink. She then had the audacity to snap back at us when we complainedand said she?d just grab our tab. We waited, yet another 20 mins, so we have been here an hour, and decks, since we weren?tgetting our second round, and we weren?t getting the food we ordered 40 mins ago, we?ll just leave cash on the table and go.Clearly Alyssa did not think her schedule through so we?ll just get out of h...
Most amazing appetizer eVeR. Freshly Fried Pork Skins sprinkled with lemon pepper served with queso to dip. Besides having a light crispy texture, exciting flavor pairing, high grade chicharrones that are fried fresh they produce a tantalizing audible pop. While resting tableside this curious dish snaps, crackles, and pops infrequently with admirable gusto. Great at nudging a conversation or the forefront of unforgettable memories. Good live music venue to enjoy a cold one complimented with an order of crispy pork skins
I love the vibe at Keller Tavern. It's a comfortable place to drop into without any advanced planning. The beer is cold, the menu is typical bar food with some surprises, and the bar staff is either snarky and awesome or mostly not, but they do bringtasty drinks around frequently. The local music performances and open mic night add to the experience. This is probably myfavorite outdoor venue in Keller.
The food was undercooked, the service was poor and we were passively pushed out by the staff mopping with potent cleaning solution on the other side of our table and sweeping the dining area next to us. It was a Saturday night at 9pm and their website read that they were open until 10:30pm. We were looking forward to a night out and great meal, but the entire experience was disappointing. Drinks were good, prices were good and the staff was friendly. We went on a Friday evening and it was crowded inside and outside. Live rocking band started at nine. Inside or out, it was hard to hear others at your table talk. Came again on aTuesday night before Thanksgiving and it was crowded again. This time it was trivia night and that was fun.
This place is really nice, cozy, friendly servers. Food is good. What is not good is the very sad $13 ?old fashioned? i ordered. Tiny thing that seemed like it came from a can. Also they yelled last call 40 minutes before closing. Strange. Don?t order theold fashioned, in fact, just stick with beer or seltzers here.
