Kelseys Original Roadhouse

Went to the Ancaster location. I haven't had the best experiences at various Kelseys but at the last two new (to me) locations that I visited I had good experiences. Went to the Ancaster location last week and ordered the sirloin which was cooked to perfection which is a rarity. Fettuccine alfredo was good. The half rack ribs which my son throughly enjoyed. The ribs were also cooked perfectly which again, is rare. Past experiences at other restaurants they were dry but the ribs at Kelseys Ancaster were fall off the bone tender and delicious. The last few times I have been to this restaurant, the food has been terrible. The wings I ordered were extremely dry and drowned in a mild sauce that tasted like ketchup. Despite this, I decided to give them another chance. This time, I ordered the buffalo chicken potato skins and was disappointed to find that they had changed the recipe to include chopped up chicken pieces coated in an extremely spicy hot sauce. My husband's buffalo wings were covered in giant peppercorns, as was my daughter's kids burger. I went out tonight to catch up with some old friends I haven't seen in a while. Unfortunately, the waiter kept forgetting our orders and we had to ask for refills multiple times which never arrived. He admitted to forgetting about us and our requests twice. Despite having a decent-sized group of six people, he never checked on our table and we had to ask someone else for condiments. It seemed like he was new and had too many tables to handle. It was a missed opportunity for him to earn a good amount in tips. Overall, I won't be returning to this restaurant in the future.

We were two for 2.5 hours and to constantly flagging waiter. He never came to check on us and when he did he forgot about. I ask for refill like 3 times and never got it. I understand he said he was new but that's not right. Looks like he had to many tables. Very disappointed will not be returning, food was great. Server was horrible.

After attending a concert with friends, we stopped by this restaurant late at night. We ordered several appetizers and were impressed by how fresh and hot they were. The spinach dip was particularly outstanding, and we also enjoyed the sangria.
