Ken Sushi is worth the drive for us. We come here for lunch every time we are in the area. The lunch specials are great! Today I got the pick two rolls special. I picked the Arizona and the crunchy spicy salmon rolls. The Arizona is made with yellowtail. The fresh fish in the roll were fatty. It was really good. I also got the uni nigiri. I was craving the creamy, fishy uni. It hits the spot! My bf ordered a bento box, which comes with the main with rice (he got basil chicken), miso soup, salad, three nigiri and a California roll. For our daughter's birthday, she wanted sushi, so we decided to try Ken Sushi Asian Bistro. They seated our group of seven immediately. Although the dining area is small, the layout makes good use of the space. The service was excellent. We started with fried calamari, gyoza, and tempura shrimp. The fried calamari was a bit chewy, but the other appetizers were delicious. My husband didn’t mind the texture. Ken’s offers a wide variety of rolls; we chose the dragon roll and the baba roll, both of which were fantastic. We also ordered two portions of fried rice for the kids, and they loved it! We’re so happy to have found a sushi spot we enjoy. Don’t miss the Thai iced coffee – it’s delicious!
Definitely a must stop for some of the freshest sushi around! The rolls are very unique and well crafted. They offer plum wine among other Japanese beverages and the service is on point. Very friendly and very fast. The quality of the different sushi rolls makes it very hard to decide what to get. The menu is pretty extensive which is awesome and they offer Mochi.Parking: The righy turn into the shopping plaza is pretty sharp, so be careful at the light if someone is wanting to turn out.
I can't stop coming back! This sushi spot is my favorite in the Tampa Bay Area. It's tucked into a small strip area that you wouldn't think to check out just driving by. I'm glad I took a chance to check it out. I order the spicy tuna without fail every time I go. The lunch specials are great and the dinner prices are amazing for what you're getting. Definitely check it out if you want an amazing restaurant with great ambiance and food quality.

Ken Sushi Asian Bistro is a clean, small, and cozy spot. The sushi was excellent, and the dessert was delicious with an attractive presentation. However, the staff during my visit were gathered together near the register, snickering and laughing while looking at my family and other customers, which made the atmosphere awkward and uncomfortable. Aside from that, the food was enjoyable.
I fell into this sushi place and was pleasantly surprised.In a run-down strip of car stereo and smoke shops, this restaurant was packed.Sushi was fresh and well presented. I wish I had taken a picture of some of the boats and sushi platters that were being prepared. I had a front row seat at the bar.I would visit again next time I am in the area.
If I lived here, this would be a regular spot for me. We ordered 4 rolls, miso soup and seaweed salad and everything was absolutely delicious. The rolls were very unique and so good! The portions were large and the fish was very fresh and melted in your mouth. The presentation was also beautiful. Would recommend 10/10!!!
The sushi was fantastic. I ordered the Kamikaze and New York rolls with avocado. The miso soup and salad were good, though on the smaller side. The yakisoba portion was also small and just okay. Overall, the sushi was definitely the highlight.

Definitely the best sushi I've had in a long long time. My new favorite spot. The place is small so we had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth it. Delicious, fresh, absolutely perfect!
I've only had the sushi here and the quality and taste are excellent. The space is a bit small so be sure to make a reservation.
