My husband and I stopped at this cafe for some takeaway lunch when stopped at Forfar. The filled rolls were very fresh and huge! packed full of salad with ham and chicken. I commented it was the best rolls I have tasted, as well as being very reasonably priced. Approximately £8.00. We had tea and coffee takeaway. With both of us being lactose intolerant the lovely helpful lady behind the counter made sure we were catered for. Will pop in again if passing to try their coffee made with oat milk.
We stopped at this restaurant for takeout and decided to eat in our van since the place appeared clean and we could park outside. I ordered the Scampi chips, but unfortunately, they were undercooked and slimy inside. The breadcrumbs on the outside were soft, and there was an overwhelming amount of salt on the chips, making them inedible. My husband had the homemade curry and chips, but they were also overly salty, making it difficult for him to eat. Overall, it was a terrible meal experience.
The food at this wonderful little cafe is absolutely delicious. It serves one of the best breakfasts in Scotland and the staff are very friendly. We make a point to come to Forfar just to have breakfast here when we are in the area. A definite must-visit spot, rated 10 out of 10.
Lovely cafe with good selection of light homemade meals, cakes and coffee. Very very clean and good value. Lovely friendly staff. Obviously good value and used extensively by locals who were welcomed as friends. Réservez une table maintenant
I was served by a very rude young man named ryanm99, he was very immature and at one point stood on one of the tables and done something he called “cube mouth”, the food was also awful and gave me the skitters.
As always a great place to eat. Friendly staff, great service and prices are very reasonable. Very clean eatery and dogs allowed. The waffle with bacon and maple syrup was absolutely delicious.
I went to this restaurant and the food was awful and made me sick. The staff were rude and disrespectful. I would suggest skipping this place and dining somewhere else.
