Kenny's Westside Pub offers fantastic food, drinks, atmosphere, and service in a downtown Peoria Irish Pub. What more could you ask for? The Strawberry Walnut Salad and Irish stew are both a perfect 5/5. I never imagined that a random bar in the Midwest would serve such an excellent salad. The raspberry vinaigrette, sweet slices of strawberry, and generous amount of walnuts complemented the spinach and leafy greens beautifully. The Irish stew featured a rich beef broth filled with tender cuts of beef, carrots, and celery, with a slice of sourdough bread at the bottom of the bowl soaking up all that deliciousness. The tater tots had a wonderfully crispy coating and tasted great with ketchup....
Incredible dining experience from beginning to end! The beer selection is fantastic, and the pub itself is clean and inviting. If you find yourself in Peoria, make sure you don’t miss Kenny’s. It serves the best Irish-style food I’ve ever tasted, along with a creative menu that never disappoints. We tried the Portabella Fries, which came with homemade ranch dressing, and now that's the only way I want to enjoy mushrooms. My husband ordered the steak sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese, and the flavors were absolutely delightful. I opted for the Reuben and the dill pickle soup, both of which were beyond perfect—I actually had to force myself to save some for later! The staff is friend...
Stopped by for a late dinner with some friends. GREAT atmosphere. The food was amazing, and they had a huge selection of drinks. We got there just as shifts were changing, but everything went smoothly. Food came out quick, glasses were kept full, and fun was had all around! Thanks to the staff for a great meal! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were slightly limited. Some members of our party really wanted to try the dill pickle soup, but it was chicken broth based. Came with a large group for a late lunch. Easy in even with the bunch of us. Good selection of beer and food was of the Irish theme although central EU and America fare was there as well. Had the stew and the French dip (Dublin Dip) both of which were very good with a slightly different taste. Pickle soup was done very nicely. Adding a Guinness made it just right, indeed. Everything was delightful! I had the corned beef wrap a with side of tots. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their meals too. Staff were attentive and friendly! We got here early enough on a Monday(not many places open on Mon. , by the time we left it was very busy. I'd go back again for sure!
This place has amazing bar food best onion rings I 've ever had, solid crab cakes. The Live music is great, but this place also has the whole 'sectioned off ' set up so you can enjoy the music or go back into a different area and make conversation. Beer selection is great.
