I read about this place in the local paper and wanted to try it as there are barely any yum cha places in Williamstown and if there are, they are usually not that great. What a pleasant surprise to find a place right on Ferguson street only a few blocks walk from the Ferguson street pier!FRESH, FAST and fabulously friendly! The food was THE BEST yum cha I have ever tried and my brother, friends and family agree and that includes young children aged between 2 and 9 years which is a BIG thing, as we know how fussy kids can be.I have been here three times and they never fail to go above and beyond expectation in regard to service, efficiency AND the FRESH food that is made on the premises by the same people serving this fine food! 10/10!

I have driven past Kenny's many times without stopping for a meal. The exterior and interior of the restaurant don't appear very appealing, but the food was a pleasant surprise. The vegetarian fried rice, prawn dumplings, prawn wontons, and veggie dumplings were all delicious. The prices are a bit high, with dumplings costing around $8 for 3 pieces, so expect to spend $25-$30 per person. If you enjoy yum cha and dumplings, Kenny's is worth a visit, especially if you live in the West. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered Sichuan beef at Kenny's Yum Cha and was disappointed to find it lacked any spice. It seemed like they may have given me the wrong dish, as it neither tasted like Sichuan beef nor was enjoyable. Additionally, the fried chicken ribs I ordered were extremely fatty, unlike any chicken ribs I have ever had before. Unfortunately, my experience ended with both dishes being thrown in the trash.

We came across Kenny's on the way home from Melbourne. Thought we'd go to a trendy cafe but decided on Chinese instead. We were SO pleased we ate here. All the food was full of flavour and came out hot. The waitress was very friendly and the kitchen staff gave us a smile as we left. We would definitely eat here again if we are in the area.
