We arrived for dinner approx 9pm on a saturday evening The restaurant wasn't busy , we ordered our drinks then our starters and mains approx 9.30pm. The waitress informed us about 15mins later that our starters and mains were ready and were going to be arriving together as the kitchen was now closed. We sat and ate our starters with our mains placed at the side of us going cold. If we were informed when ordering that the kitchen was closing we would not have ordered starters. It was a Saturday night at 9.30pm not a Monday night! Obviously the chef was in a hurry to get home. We had a very rushed experience at a cost of £75. Most of the food we had to take home. Excellent food service. Kervansaray catered for a party of 100 people for an external venue. The food arrived hot and ready to serve. Food was delicious. Meat was tasty and succulent. Many of our guests commented on the delicious buffet. Thank you Kervansaray for stepping in and catering for our party at short notice. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Restaurant looks wonderful and stylish, so looking forward to enjoying a meal in the restaurant soon.
beautiful restaurant. beautifully decorated, lots of space. Disabled parking on the front of the restaurant and ample parking on the street. the toilets are clean. this place offers a lunch menu and an evening menu. the prices are reasonable. mostly grilled meat, couscous and rice. many salads, brote and various dips are available. the portions are generous. there are vegan and vegetarian dishes. the staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend it.
in an antidote with so many Turkish options, kervan saray really stands out. rich velvets are only part of the bold design. the service, the eating and the ambiente are all çok güzel! highly recommended if you find yourself in waltham cross, and the journey from further afield worth. if you found my review or photos helpful, please leave a thumb up thank you! Fantastic food every time. I’ve had takeaway from here and have eaten in the restaurant on many occasions. Every time the food and service are exceptional. This time we had the mixed kebab again and the meat was nicely marinated and seasoned. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
