I understand that the restaurant has 1 Michelin star and the Bistro is Michelin recommended - the restaurant was closed at the weekend so we opted for the Bistro.Given our expectations I was very disappointed by the whole experience.I was surprised that there was no English version of the menu available. This meant that my friend had to translate every dish for me.I felt that our server was overly chatty but in a very patronising way. Our budget only allowed for the bistro, which was OK. Service was good, but one thing I would have expected is to be asked how the entrecote should be done (I might have told them unasked, but I didn't have the entrecote but others...in our group did). They managed to have the dishes ready for all people) at the same time, and the food was good (also the amount of salt).

I visited the Kesselhaus with customers since I heard so many good things about that place. They couldn't achieve my expectations what doesn't mean that it was bad. The service was good and friendly and the outside area was okay. The food quality was average,...compared with the price we paid.
