Kew Gardens Chicken

This restaurant has been around for years and is better than Chirping Chicken in Manhattan. Their grilled chicken is fantastic! When I take my chicken home and reheat it, I add a little water, and it stays so juicy. This is a tip for those who say the chicken is dry: you need to moisten it if you're not eating it right away. Overall, it's the best grilled chicken I've had, and the spinach rice is incredible, along with the Greek salad with Russian dressing, lemon potatoes, and black beans. It just needs a bit of salt, but overall, this place is outstanding!

It's a great spot for a quick meal, perfect for when you're in a hurry—I've been in and out in under five minutes! The prices are fantastic as well; for just $15.79, I got half a chicken, two sides, and a pita. The sides were delicious, and the pita was flavorful too. My only issue was that the chicken was a bit dry, which would have been less of a problem if they had green sauce available for dipping, but unfortunately, they had run out. Overall, it's a solid choice for a fast lunch.

The food is incredibly basic. It feels like the dishes were designed to be as simple as possible. I’m not saying it tasted bad, just that it was quite plain. Everything seemed to be seasoned only with salt. The half chicken was served cut up; it appeared dry, but surprisingly had some juiciness. The pita was over-toasted, which contributed to the overall dryness. Luckily, I had some sriracha to spice things up a bit and rescue me from the blandness.

The best lemon potatoes better than the Greeks! It?s the best chicken, cooked on the charcoal flames. No place like this in NY. If you never had it then you should. I?m so picky I don?t eat from nowhere, this place is soooooo underrated! Must try theirsweet potatoes too it?s soo good! Ugh I love this place. Réservez une table maintenant

The food is absolutely disgusting. There is a fat guy that works there and he just looks utterly dirty. The food is dry and has no flavor. My stomach got so sick I would never ever eat here. Even the sides has absolutely no flavor.

Chicken was moist and delicious. Great sides! Recommend this place, even for vegetarians because of the number of sides! Order early or call to make sure they have every side you want, but the others are great too!

This chicken restaurant used to be really good, but now the chicken is super dry. It tastes like the cooked chicken has been sitting on the grill for days. It’s so much better when it’s freshly made. What a shame!

Went there two times, chicken was dry and flavorless, no seasoning or marinade at all, ZERO flavor. Guy taking orders was loud and rude, I am 1 foot away and he yells. SWIdes. are flavorless .Will never go again. Réservez une table maintenant
