After ordering from Keys for the last 30 years, I will no longer be ordering again. I work from home and often order breakfast and lunch from Key's Cafe. Today is Thursday, January 18, 2024 and it is 2:55 pm and the restaurant is closed. Every other location out there with exception of Minneapolis is currently open, but not White Bear Lake. I guess Keys doesn't care about the community of White Bear Lake and therefore, I don't care of Key's anymore!
This quaint classic-style diner has a charming atmosphere, but unfortunately the food doesn't meet expectations. They don’t offer fresh orange juice, the coffee sits on the burner for too long, and they only serve plain log cabin syrup instead of maple syrup. Additionally, the menu is excessively large and overly customizable. However, the lemon bar I took to go from the bakery was quite delightful.
Cozy cafe that serves amazing breakfast all day. All the food I've tried so far has been delicious.They are pretty quick, at least for the breakfast foods I've ordered. Nice for a lunch with someone to chat that doesn't take too long. Dietary restrictions: They can make quite a few to order for dietary restrictions. They have gluten free (GF), dairy free (DF), and vegetarian options.
We recently helped some friends move to White Bear Township, and when they asked where we should go for lunch, we happily suggested Keys. The wild rice pasta salad was delicious, as was the Monte Cristo. I didn't think to ask about the other dishes, but I didn't hear any complaints. Réservez une table maintenant
I love going to Keys in White Bear Lake. Good food and friendly people.My favorite meal is breakfast. Lately I have been loving the Potatoes Ect and I add their corned beef. Delicious! They also have GF toast with the best jam.
Biscuits and gravy wasnt anywhere good....the biscuits were cold and hard and our waitress seemed to busy to take the rest of the order....would not go again.
We stop at the one in White Bear and really like it. It's smaller than the one closer to us (by our house) but it seems better than the one by our house.

We shared a "two Men 's breakfast and French toasts. Food was tasty. It as very filling. There are many choices.
