Kg's Westside Cafe

We stumbled upon this fantastic little restaurant thanks to the coupons from the Entertainment Book, and I’m so glad they included it; otherwise, we probably wouldn’t have discovered it! The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable! We visited last Sunday—my friend had a delicious cheeseburger with fries, while I enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The meals were so good that we could only finish about half of the sandwiches and ended up taking the rest home! We always try something new whenever we go. Average breakfast/lunch diner on the west side. First time there I got the enchiladas (what was I thinking). Not too good, and about what you'd expect at a diner. Second time I got eggs, hash browns, sausage pancakes. This was fine, and the pancakes were pretty good. I'll eat there again, but only because my golf group likes to go there. Note on my ratings: 1 star, unacceptable. 2-3 stars, acceptable, but average, you could do better. 4 stars, above average quality, service and/or value. 5 stars, reserved for outstanding quality, value and service.

The decor is quite unremarkable, and since we only ordered salads, I'm sure the food would have earned a five out of five. However, I give the service a glowing rating of five plus plus! One downside is the odd placement of the restrooms; when the restaurant is busy, patrons have to wait in line right next to those who are dining, which can be awkward.

Delicious food at affordable prices! The portion sizes are generous and perfect for leftovers. The service is excellent, with fantastic staff like Kris, Amanda, and Mica. I had a ok 1st experience but needed to come back to have a great experience and been coming back since. Definitely recommend and definitely make it a go to with old times cafe.
