I was there today for the first time with a friend. I was happy with all the options on the menu and found vegan ones too. The server was so friendly and the restaurant was clean. The location is great and free parking with its own lot so you don't have to struggle to find a spot. The food was delicious and I cleaned my plate. The meal size was large and filling, we were glad they had a brown rice option since we don't care for white rice. I wish I had taken a picture of my meal to post with this review. My friend and I went to Khaophums II for lunch today and it was really good. I had the yellow curry with tofu and brown rice and it was tasty and filling. The portion size was very good. I had forgotten to mention I would rather have brown rice than white but it was replaced quickly, so I was appreciative of that. The tea was delicious as well! We had a nice time and will definitely be back. Also, with the issues around parking in Exeter, it was great that these guys have a parking lot! I will take pic of food next time!
Definitely adding this restaurant to the rotation!! I’ve driven past this place for a few years now, but hadn’t tried it until tonight. The exterior is unassuming — which is probably why I’d keep forgetting to try it — but inside they make delightful Thai food! The crispy chicken fried rice was quite possibly the best fried rice I’ve had. The panang curry, dumplings, and thai pancakes were also delicious and in solid portions. Overall a very good deal. I’ll be back for sure!
I had an amazing dining experience at Khaophums in Exeter! The Green Curry Shrimp was absolutely delicious, with just the right balance of spice and flavor. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the curry had a wonderful, rich taste. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and authentic everything tasted. Best Thai food in the area, so fresh and delicious. My favorite dishes are the ginger with chicken and pad Thai. The space is small but clean, and they are usually very busy on Friday and Saturdays with take out orders. 10/10 would recommend!
