WORST FOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! STAY AWAY. Ordered two curries with side dishes and naan breads. Food was ready within 10 minutes which we should have been suspicious of. It was Luke warm at best but more worrying looked really artificial and was completely inedible. The side dish of paneer with potato was congealed and instead of paneer cheese the potatoes was mixed with normal cheddar and was melted and waxy. It was just slush. Tasted disgusted. My partners prawn dish which was £12.45 didn’t even look like prawns, If they were prawns they were like rubber all stuck together.... you couldn’t even cut the so called prawns with a knife!!!!! AWFUL STAY AWAY. I ordered a curry for myself and my girlfriend. the king prawn Shahi at £12.45 was rubbery and do chewy it could not be eaten. The special mixed masala was also dry with the meat being very tough and hard both meals were only warm at best. The paneer was not paneer it was slimy and melted into the curry which I 'm convinced was just chunks of cheddar cheese. We rang back very shortly after discovering this to say respectfully we were not happy with the food at all and wanted to bring it back for a refund as it had not been eaten. The food came an hour and 40 mins late and cold. Onion bhajis and spinach bhaji lovely, naan bread lovely.My starter was egg wrapped in mince, it was black. Naga chicken just hot no flavour and the same with ceylon chicken. We did not eat our meals and that is unheard of we are avid indian cuisine lovers and that is unheard of. Ordered tonight for collection and was told 20 minutes. We arrived to collect and was told the order had been lost and that we needed to wait for more food to be cooked. When we got home there was no rice for the curries so I called the restaurant to explain and ask them to deliver us some rice. The lady was very rude and was shouting down the phone at me saying we didn’t even order rice. (Who orders a curry and no rice?! she shouted that she doesn’t have any delivery drivers anyway and continued to say we didn’t order. Its NYE and tier 4, so I can understand everyone is ordering takeaways. Ordered through #deliveroo giving an eta time of 19:50...i attempted to phone a few times, EVENTUALLY!, got an explanation and apologies about being 3 hours behind, I am understanding. So at this point who do I become livid with the, the takeaway for excepting the order or deliveroo giving a wrong ETA!? If i had known it would be a long wait i would of gone with the alternative.
I rang up to make an order for 8 people last Saturday. The lady on the phone was excellent. I rang and asked to order in groups to make it easier for me to work out money. It was SO smooth. At the end of the conversation I thanked the girl for making it so quick and easy. Food came within 40 minutes and the delivery woman was also so lovely. Food was so good. I really think it’s the best in Kettering.
Ordered Tawa Chicken, got a Lamb dish, spoke to a women and asked for the correct dish for free next time, refused and said we would have to wait for the driver to come back and give us correct dish and swap for the incorrect dish. Regular customer lost due to terrible customer service.
