First and foremost, watch your step as you enter the restaurant. It's clearly marked, but I can't stress this enough. Now, onto my experience. The service started off a bit slow, but it improved significantly in no time. This was my first taste of Indian cuisine, and I found it to be quite enjoyable. The dessert, however, was just okay, but I can't blame the restaurant for that—I chose something without really knowing what it was and didn’t pick something more suited to my taste. It was on the pricier side, but considering what we ordered, I felt it offered good value compared to some other places I've visited recently.
This was the worst Indian or American food I've ever had! Despite spending $30 on three items—samosas, naan, shrimp masala, and rice—the shrimp came in a watery sauce, the naan was thick and tough like rope, and the samosa shell was dense and doughy, more like an egg roll. The only somewhat edible part was the rice, which was dry, almost uncooked. I ended up throwing everything away. I eat Indian food regularly, and there are many much better Indian restaurants in the western suburbs.
I placed an order over the phone, and the food was prepared promptly for pickup. This restaurant seems to be more Pakistani than Indian. I tried the vegetable Jalfrezi, which was watery and not medium spicy as expected, the lamb biryani, which was overly salty, the samosa with unseasoned potatoes, and the puri, which was delicious. If you're expecting Indian cuisine, you might want to reconsider or stick to the tandoor dishes.
I absolutely adore the delicious Indian cuisine at this restaurant! The depth of flavors in the Chicken Tikka Masala and the vegetarian dishes is truly impressive and incredibly satisfying. My husband and I are willing to drive 45 minutes to enjoy this food when we have a craving for Indian dishes. The staff always treats us with warmth and kindness.

I visited this restaurant with my father on Father's Day, and it was a fantastic experience. The green chutney was flavorful, and the samosas were hot and delicious. The Lamb Vindaloo was incredible and had a nice spicy kick. I highly recommend this place; it's very affordable and offers great service. JAI HIND Vande Mataram!
The naan bread at Khyber Pass is the best I've ever tasted, served in generous portions. Their meat dishes are tender and flavorful, with incredible spices, and the masala tea is simply delightful. I've brought several friends here, tried a range of dishes, and have always been impressed.
Pretty standard Indian. Lamb Biryani spicier than from Mantra, both good. No sweet wine like White Zin or Muscato, Rose was fine. Outdoor tables but was too cool when we visited. Parking available throughout the Oak Park area was not a problem, pay thru the app. Would recommend.
The Indian food here is exceptional, bursting with flavor—especially the lamb. The rice is cooked to perfection and pairs wonderfully with their entrees, which offer a wide selection of traditional dishes. The bread is fantastic as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Malai kofta delicious best I had since visiting Devon street. At first if you read raisins in food, you will think 'what the hell, raisins in dinner, no thank you ' but its out of this world scrumptious.
Excellent experience! I’ll definitely return to try more dishes.
