As locals, I and my family visited many of the local restaurants. However, we have been shocked by this, as we think it is very overestimated. The restaurant itself is usually ok, the service was good, but the food was just terrible. With a salad that had a terrible goat cheese (probably frozen before) and even worse dressing, a terrible season special (subpart geese for two of us) it had no redeeming qualities. I would go personally for all the other Top Ten of Tripadvisor, we've all visited them and they were all better. However, this is only our experience here, please feel free to try it yourself! Make yourself a favor and do not order seasonal goose or salad here, very disappointing on...
Hatten uns so gefreut, mal wieder nach einem guten Marsch von Obertürkheim hier was Gutes zu essen. Aber: erst mal war man dort noch nicht soweit, dass man Platz nehmen durfte.. Dann war der Service soo flapsig und offenbar lustlos.Die sauren Nierle schwammen in einer seeehr sauren Sauce, der Salat in zu kleine Schüsseln gestopft, alles unbefriedigend und ziemlich enttäuschend. Schade
Ate here in late afternoon (not yet evening) with my spouse and youngest two children. There were other young families as well on the outside terrace and no one was disturbed by the kids playing. The late afternoon sun was perfect for autumn and we had a terrific outdoor meal. It's a great place to park and finish a day trip to Esslingen.
Immer wieder gut! Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich familiär, man fühlt sich gleich Willkommen. Die Essen sind frisch, lecker und von guter Qualität. Es gibt ein paar Optionen für Vegetarier. Würde mir noch ein paar vegane Optionen wünschen. Ansonsten kann ich Kielmeyers Besen empfehlen auch im Sommer zum Draußensitzen super.

Amazing restaurant, delicious food and quite large portions. The staff was incredibly nice and hospitable, we even have 2 shots on the house at the end. If you are lucky to be there on a sunny day, the view from a table outside is very nice and chilled. Definitely recommend going there!
Kielmeyer Besen und das Kielmeyer 1582 wurden zusammen gelegt. Klassische schwäbische Küche zu fairen Preisen. Alles tip top und sehr lecker zubereitet Auch die Weine (Weingut Kusterer) sind sehr zu empfehlen. Grosse Auswahl auch an Bieren.
Sehr lange Wartezeit aufgrund unzureichendem Personal. Essen okay, aber für den Preis hätte ich mir etwas besseren Geschmack gewünscht. Bedienung war dennoch sehr freundlich und tat ihr Bestes.
Saw outside on a Saturday when the market slowed down. Food was good and service fast. They had special areas on board. If you are looking for a good German fast lunch, it is.

Fitted in without a booking. Good atmosphere and good food. The place is small, so in winter it can be hard to find a place at busy times
