If you're looking for a great sushi restaurant in the uptown area, you must visit Kiku Bistro. I have ordered delivery online many times, but decided to dine in at the restaurant this time. There is convenient street parking right in front of the restaurant, and you can pay using the MPLS Parking app. The atmosphere is relaxed with dim lighting, and we were seated next to the sushi bar. Instead of traditional menus and a server, we were instructed to scan a QR code to view the menu and place our order on the website. Got takeout from here for the first time last night and I was pleasantly surprised, considering sushi take out is always a gamble in general. I ordered the Christmas roll and it was delicious! Only complaint is that they packaged it in the same bag as our order of fried rice, so my sushi was quite warm/a bit steamed by the time we got home with it. Otherwise no issues and our order was ready on time! Update 8/17/21 Ordered via uber eats again tonight- tried the twin flame roll and mango fried rice. I have ordered from here a couple of times, but this time it was not good. Little disappointed seeing as I spent $66 and I was really excited for sushi. The Pad Thai was really orange in color and tasted too sweet. I have never seen Pad Thai so orange. Not enough vinegar taste. Pad Thai is not supposed to be so sweet. The bliss roll which is usually my favorite because I love mango in my rolls, but it had no mango. Not sure what happened here. Lastly, the veggie gyozas were okay. Little greasy/soggy. I am guessing they would have been better in the restaurant instead of to go. Disappointed.
I love ordering everything through their phone app. I went on a Thursday night and the drinks were fantastic. I highly recommend trying the Manhattan. The sushi was outstanding, with each roll being unique and having rich, creamy, and light flavors. If you are a sushi lover, don't miss out on this place. I have had sushi in many places, including my mother's home, and this restaurant really got it right.

I have always heard great things about Kiku, but I finally had the chance to dine there today and it did not disappoint! As a vegetarian, I was thrilled with their delicious sushi options. I also really enjoyed the pad Thai. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was outstanding. Kiku has now become my favorite sushi spot.
Great sushi options and great atmosphere. Very relaxing with a nice bar inside too. My favorite was the Bliss roll. Also ordered the Vegas roll, Winter roll, and spicy tuna roll. Very fresh and quick service. I love ginger and Wasabi so they had no problems giving me a little extra.
This was my first time here. I went because a friend really likes thier happy hour. We went. The drinks were STRONG! Whats not to love about that. The rolls were delicious. And the fried rice had me eating so much I got sick.....so yum. Will definitely go back.
Nice place, a bit on the high price side but the food was good. Servers were adequate, but... not ONE stopped after meal delivery to ask if we needed anything else. The online self order menu was a nice feature. 110 for three people.

This restaurant is a delightful gem in the bustling Uptown area. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. You can't go wrong with any dish on the menu!
I highly recommend this restaurant. I loved the appetizers and sushi. The fried rice was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Overall, I give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.
