King Carveries, Coventry

I really wanted to like King Carveries in Coventry since it’s local, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The food lacked flavor, especially the gravy, which was particularly bad. I’d recommend trying the Walsgrave location instead, which is better, or Toby’s, which I prefer. We visited for a Father’s Day treat, and it was a big letdown. Vegetarian options are very limited, which is surprising since many carvery diners have vegetarian companions. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We visited King Carveries in Coventry for a carvery tonight and had a wonderful experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The tables were spotless and neatly arranged, and the meat portions were very generous. We highly recommend this place and will certainly be returning!
