I really wanted to like King Carveries in Coventry since it’s local, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The food lacked flavor, especially the gravy, which was particularly bad. I’d recommend trying the Walsgrave location instead, which is better, or Toby’s, which I prefer. We visited for a Father’s Day treat, and it was a big letdown. Vegetarian options are very limited, which is surprising since many carvery diners have vegetarian companions. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
