As we entered this spacious grocery store, armed with our coupon flyers, we were met by the manager, Jo. Poor Jo! He’s a fantastic manager, but he had the unfortunate task of informing us that the government had changed the mask regulations again. I really felt for him; he's been managing this store for over 25 years and constantly has to explain the new rules to incoming customers—trust me, many people weren’t happy about it.

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. I went in at night for some strawberries. To my surprise, I only found two boxes of strawberries and they were beginning to go bad (there was even mold on some of them). However, considering that I wanted them and it was my last stop before going home for the night, I decided to settle. When I approached the cashier, they rang up at $9.99. I found out that they were organic. Went here all the time when I lived in NY. The battle for a parking spot is rough on the weekends, but it's still the best Grocery Store near me if you don't want to pay the premium prices of a Whole Foods or a smaller market. The place is always clean and the employees are always helpful. They have most everything you could want. I love their seafood section. Used to come here and get lobsters for lunch all the time. They would even cook them up for me. They were a very good price too. The bakery section is something I would try to avoid at all costs because everything always looked so good. I had stopped going to King Kullen because it's always filthy and their prices are crazy expensive. However, I was in emergency need of diaper cream with no time to spare. While there, I also needed bananas. Harmless, right? Until I saw a spider making a web between two bunches and then saw the employee who was restocking nearby pull down his mask and wipe his nose. I got the diaper cream and got out of there. What a disgusting place. No wonder they're all closing, they have been far and away the worst grocery store on Long Island for two decades. If you're pulling the mask down to wipe your face, why even wear the mask? Why not just pick up a kale leaf and blow your nose into it?

A staple for me in the area. I normally grab something here for lunch since it's cheaper than having to order something and paying extra for a delivery charge. It's a nice huge space and the variety is next to no other in the vicinity. I normally grab something from behind the deli counter than what's been pre-packaged. The Chicken burrito dinner was kind of lack luster, the taste was bland all around and they only had like 4 pieces of Grilled chicken in the burrito.
Avoid King Kullen! Lidl offers lower prices on organic foods. I had a troubling experience with their staff, who were harassing employees and following customers around. It seems they prioritize their undercover security jobs over providing a pleasant shopping environment. I noticed that the prices were quite high, and the eggs had been left out and felt warm for hours. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for family shopping.
Employees in manhasset Are not wearing masks or gloves the self check out is often overseen by an employee without a mask who comes far too close to customers the employee who pulls wagons in from the parking lot does not wear gloves nor a mask and he's eating and drinking while he's moving the wagons and then touching the wagons -very dangerous situation- beware!
I needed to buy some dog food because I was staying at a friend's house and hadn't brought enough with me. I decided to use the self-checkout to save time since I only had one item. However, the woman at the self-checkout was quite unfriendly and seemed grumpy, nitpicking every little thing I did.

A great market, staff is helpful, great managers... I had a very good encounter recently with the young man behind the customer service desk. Very helpful in finding what I needed!
I rang up all my items at self check out. Machine wouldn't let me pay and there wasn't anybody around to help me so I'm never coming back here
