Kings Arms, Monkton Farleigh

First time bak here for about 40 years and things have changed a bit , for the better , of course. Very fine pub on the edge of a rather nice village. Didn't get to check the other rooms but ours (Queens) was very spacious, warm ,comfortable with a great bathroom. Some friends joined us for supper and the food was excellent and a good wine list . Will go back in Spring to explore further as it is very close to Bath and Bradford on Avon.

Delicious food, fish dish plus veg very tasty. Brownie was one of the best. However be warned, it is a very old building with thick walls, therefore cold. So wear layers but it is the place to go if we get another heatwave!

we had a tasty meal, the beerbatter fish, klobige chips mushed hebsen were delicious. the atmosphere was calm as it was 12 o'clock in the middle of the day, but we were very welcome.

Very attentive and friendly staff with fast service. The food was delicious and very good portion sizes. Would definitely return if we are in this area again.

Lovely roast dinner though could have been a bit warmer. I was glad the chicken supreme didn't have a bone as I had expected very tasty gravy.

We had an excellent meal yesterday. service was fantastic-super friendly staff and the food was delicious. We will be returning.
