No disabled access from garage area. STAIRS! Ambience of Kind's Bar was lovely. Not noisy, comfortable heat and nice seating. Staff were unobtrusive, but helpful. The afternoon tea stand was prepared fresh, unfortunately the scones were a little on the dry side and just cream and jam, no butter. We got a special extra. It was my friends birthday and they gave us an extra portion of cake. The cherry macarons were lush, however, the pistachio ones were not so flavourful. Some unusual flavour paring, and colouring, but overall tasty and filling tea. We also had two pots of tea during the afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble for the cheerful and attentive staff. I love coming to this restaurant for afternoon tea. The sandwiches and scones were incredibly soft, indicating that they were made fresh just before serving. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was excellent, and I was told the vegetarian options were delicious. The staff continuously checked on us and offered refills, which was appreciated. The ambiance was quiet enough to have a conversation without being too silent. Overall, it was a brilliant experience. Thank you.
We had a delightful afternoon tea at this restaurant, and it was great value for money. The only downside was the limited sandwich options - we only had egg and ham with mustard. We had to ask for butter for the crackers, and the plain scone was a bit of a disappointment. As it was the gentleman's afternoon tea, we would have preferred cheese. Despite these small issues, we still had a lovely time.
We had booked for afternoon tea for 3 and thought we would be in the restaurant upstairs as that is what the booking said. We were moved to the bar as obviously the restaurant was not busy which was ok but it would have been nice to have been aware of this from the booking. staff really good and lovely quality of food.

No selection of sandwiches for a vegetarian only egg!! Only given 1 drink. Came in December and had gone up £10 now and the food wasn't worth, with the selection we got!! The scones were tiny. They are normally a proper size. We have been doing afternoon tea here for the last 2 years and this was the worst!!
Very poor service from the start ,, had to look for staff to get a top up of coffee/tea, very bland sandwiches and shop bought cakes . Nobody about to take payment, had to pay at bar on way out, could have easily left without paying !!
It was lovely getting together with my siblings. Just enough food so no waste and definitely value for money. It was a Christmas afternoon tea and the staff made the effort with party hats etc Thank you
We had a delightful afternoon tea with prosecco. The sandwiches, scones, and cakes were all delicious. Highly recommend.

Sandwiches was fresh, scones were warm so freshly baked and cakes were nice. Service was quick and staff friendly.
Loved it! Lovely catch up with friends, loved the fact we could have unlimited Latte ect and not just plain coffee
