King's Homemade Ice Cream

I've passed this place a million times on my way to the beach and swore I would one day stop and try it. I finally made the stop, and I'm glad I did. The store was super chilly, which on a hot summer day would be a welcome change. The young people working there were friendly and helpful. They made excellent recommendations. Our ice cream was yummy as well as our waffle cones. It was a nice touch being able to sit on the bench out front and car watch, but there is additional seating next to the building if you don't want to be front and center. Overall, it's a cute place and definitely worth the stop.

My sister worked here when I was a kid. My kids always beg to come here now. Awesome flavors! They have plenty of seats inside, but also two benches in front and a side area with more tables and chairs. They have at least 18 flavor options at one time. I love the coffee and Dutch chocolate (together). If you can't do lactose, they have great orange sherbet.

Really good ice cream. Delaware has the best fresh ice cream. This place is open later than the rest which is a plus for evening cravings. Probably my #3 after Vanderwendes #1 and Hopkins #2
