Kingston 30 Jamaican

This probably been my 20th time eating here lol. I stopped by today to get me a veggie plate, which is sweet plantains, cabbage, rice and peas with brown stew gravy. BOOM!!! I love this place bc they don’t over season or under season the food, it’s right every time. I just wanna say “BIG UP YOUR BLOODCLAT SELF” Get going because you never disappoint!!

The food is always good but I have it delivered (due to not so great experiences at Jamaican restaurants in the past, not theirs though, just in general .As for the food, I prefer their stewed chicken over the oxtails any day. The portion size is plenty and the food is often well seasoned and always piping hot.

Felt a little bit ripped off. Just ordered the Achee and Saltfish plate. There’s no saltfish at all in my plate. It’s usually mixed in with the Achee . So I literally paid around 17 dollars for rice, Achee, and some plantains. Portion is really small on top of that. Not going back there.

The food was not worth it for the price..The oxtails was not tender and the portions were very small. The large j chicken had only 1 piece of chicken that was chopped 4 times..Spent 46 bucks for nothing, I will not return..The only thing I had that was good was the Ginger Lemonade.

All I know is… ain’t no way the person who prepared my food was from Kingston. That I KNOW. My Rice and peas, and beef patty and cabbage was different……. I like my beef patty golden and CRISP and food fresh fresh…….lawd ain’t no way
