Definitely over priced. Should have a better quality for this small quantity. Or, should give more quantity for this quality. Ebimayo felt wet due to excessive oil and the size of shrimps was small. Torched sushi was as good as any other restaurants where you can have the same for at least 5 dollars cheaper. Kimchi noodle tastes okay. But it's a very simple dish I can easily cook at home even with cheap instant noodle. There was no delicate feel with the dish for which I did not understand why I had pay more than $10.00 Paid close to $50.00 for 2 people for lunch without liquor and came back home with empty stomach. Promise I am not a big eater. Seriously I had to make a burger at home just...
Do not eat here! While I was on the patio trying to enjoy my meal, the female waitress refused to serve a well dressed black man and this made me feel very uncomfortable. She ignored him twice to serve everyone else. He approached her to ask for the waiting time and she refused to acknowledge him. She gave everyone else courtesy and answered their questions. She then proceeded to ask her coworker not to allow him to seat after he made his reservation. We live in 2020 and this is still happening. The racism is real. I’m also asian decent and I do not tolerate this kind of behaviour. Please fire the young hostess and find a better one. #BLM
They have a great patio that's covered which is great for the rainy days. They were very busy and that's because the food is good. Had some things I've never had before and the flavor was great. Also very generous portions. Our server was very friendly and they are efficient. The only thing is everything comes too fast. We were on our soup when edamame and mains arrived. Order slow so you can dine! Great choice!
We sat outside at Kinka and enjoyed a nice dinner with the family. The service was good with one exception. I really like how the 'tapas ' like dishes are a twist/variation on Japanese/Korean food. My favorite was the KINOKO CHEESE STONE BOWL BIBIMBAP. It was rather odd how we ordered almost 10 plus dishes and they came in 15 minutes. Yet we had to wait for 1 hour to get the Udon?
I'm never disappointed in the food; however, the service is the SLOWEST EVER! Although we weren't in a rush on a Wednesday evening, it was a full house. They were definitely understaffed. They welcome everyone with a pleasant greeting and bid you farewell with lively pleasantries as well.
My family and I visited this restaurant today to celebrate my son's birthday. The food was fantastic, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
