I learned about Kinton Ramen from the show You Gotta Eat Here. It looked delicious so we decided to give it a try during our short trip to Toronto. They had a deal for $19 for a three course meal so I made sure to try it. If you just order ramen in cost from $10-12. The staff shout something in Japanese when a guest enters or leaves the restaurant which keeps it lively and interactive in the restaurant. The ramen restaurant on Church street is for smaller groups (tables are for 2-3 people) but they have a sister restaurant next door for big groups.First course was karage and gyoza. The food was excellent, good choice, reasonable price. The only thing that detracted was that it was exceptionally hot inside the restaurant (no air-conditioning running) and with the heat from the cooking (not far from our table), it didn't take long before we were completely dripping from the heat. This was truly unfortunate, as it rather ruined an otherwise excellent meal.
Came here to get my ramen craving taken care of, and washed it down with a Saporro bear. Bright little place with friendly servers and cooks that yell out some Japanese as you enter and exit. I tried the Original broth but it lacked the spiciness that I was craving, so I wished I went for the spicy miso instead. Otherwise a good place for a quick lunch or dinner.

One of my favourite ramen places in the city! The ramen is amazing every time, and very reasonably priced. The sides are also quite yummy, though the portion sizes are so large you don't really need them! Service is fast, even when they're busy. Definitely recommend it!
Had the Cheese Paitan Supreme and the Shio. Both were great, the egg was really good the second time I went. I've been to the Queen West location several times but this is my new favourite!
I tried the original chicken ramen. Broth was flavourful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Definitely worth a try.
