Kiosco El Pirata - Réservation de table

We wanted to visit a nice beachside restaurant for my son's 21st birthday. Unfortunately, the whole experience here was poor. When we got to the front of the queue to get inside, we were told that we had to read the menu before they would let us in. The menu was not at the entrance so we dropped back and lost our place to do as we were told. The menu looked expensive considering the informal setting (it's a beach bar) but it was a celebration and we were happy to pay extra so we rejoined the queue. When we reached the front for the second time, we were quizzed AGAIN about whether we understood the menu. For years we have used another restaurant on formentera , our go to venue every trip to ibiza . However having been completely hammered by their new 250 euro charge we decided enough was enough!! Pirata was recommended to us by our yacht broker so off we went . From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and appreciated !! We were given a great table with outstanding views to or better than . The service was first class and the food from an extensive menu was amazing for each course . Great atmosphere enhanced by the friendly staff and other guests . Eduardo the manager worked his socks off and was round every table checking everyone happy , a true professional and front of house...

Overpriced and poor service on arriving at the bar/ restaurant I was asked if I wanted to eat or drink, I wanted a drink so was put on a white table towards the back of the restaurant. I wasn’t given a menu I ordered half a lager I asked for the bill, it didn’t come so went to the bar and asked to pay. The guy said it was 6 euros.. I’m like 6 euros for a small beer. Paid it and went annoyed .. Won’t be going back as it is overpriced and shocking service.

Extremely rude, ignorant staff there was a misunderstanding with seating in bar but they did not listen. €5 each for two cokes. Ruined our nice day out in formentera. Avoid. Réservez une table maintenant

Situado casi sobre la espectacular playa de Illetes, es un restaurante de visita obligada. Buena comida y excelente servicio. No es barato, pero merece la pena.

spectacular location. very good food, the majos, attentive and professional waiters. we ate carabineros rice and peix bulit, a scandal! super recommended!

The food was amazing!! The prices not that much. Acceptable for the food, but not for the drinks! The location is gorgeous, but a little bit “wild”

Seem to think they are above customers. Seem to not want customers despite being dead by making unnecessary comments. Avoid at all costs.
