Sushi Stop has been a karaoke dining experience with no extra charge! The staff was very friendly and so attentive to everyone. Even if we waited for our food, we need to enjoy other people singing karaoke. The waitress discovered us without a microphone and quickly ran over us two. She even asked us about songs. You were so sweet. The food was also very fresh Sake Don, Chirashi with generous cuts, and Sushi and Sashimi Combo was really good. The spicy tuna tar was a surprise, it was a huge part. One of the coziest restaurants you will find. The staff is incredibly friendy, welcoming, and extremely accommodating. The food is some of the best you will find among other Asian restaurants on the island. Not to mention their prices are incredibly reasonable and in some cases down right a steal. I found this place on accident, and it was one of the best mistakes I've ever made. I always leave with a stomach full of great food, and a smile on my face. Don't be diswaded by the small dining area, take a seat and prepare, cause trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Here it is: the second excellent quality sushi spot on long island. Second chronologically, I found Lucky 110 Sushi a few months ago. Wasabi is a little weak, blame the average long island consumer for that. Sushi is top quality, prices more than reasonable for the quality, prepared dishes were phenomenal (shumai, takoyaki, and tempura), the mochi ice cream is as expected. Just excellent. Had cold sake. Decent enough sake, nothing special, but isn't the focus.

I ordered sushi for takeout and was disappointed with my experience. The scallion pancake was a letdown—$8 for small pieces that were about half the size of those you’d find at a Chinese supermarket. The sushi itself was just average; nothing really stood out. I ordered a roll that was supposed to come with lobster salad and crab meat, but there was hardly any lobster salad to be found. Overall, the food is quite good, from the sushi to the other Japanese dishes. The owners are fantastic and have a lot of fun; they really enjoy karaoke as well! The restaurant is extremely small, so it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance. I've visited a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed each experience. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner

I ordered fresh sushi, but it tasted like it had been prepared hours earlier—cold and stale. I felt like I wasted $67. For the service, I would rate it a 3 out of 5. The atmosphere also gets a 3. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for dinner, especially given the $50–100 per person price range. Food quality: 1 out of 5.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, making for a fun outing. The staff were very friendly and even offered us Sake as we were leaving. The rolls were fantastic, and overall, it was a great time.
