"Great food, easy to understand menu, and attentive service. Good casual spot for a couple friends or a small group/family. I love the little kolokes! They just need to fix the door closer so it doesn't slam behind you. Yikes!Food: 4/5"

Food was average. Udon was too salty for my taste, I would love it if they put some veggies in udon. The Carliforna rolls were good enough for me, I liked it. I feel like the salad was not really fresh. Tempura was good, not the eggplant one though, was soggy. The Chicken Katsu tasted okay, nothing special.Service was also average. It was not really busy at the time we dined in. Feel like the servers were not really initiative. E.g, other restaurants’ server would always come check on you and ask for any problems, or simply refill your water. Not here in this restaurant. And they have the audacity to give the looks when we decided not give tips. Did not have check up on customers and water r...

I was forced to pay a tip here for a very mediocre service. All the server did was to bring and drop two plates in front of me and I felt it was not necessary to tip. I usually tip if the service is good, server is attentive or the quantity is high. The server kept asking for tips in loud and rude voice until my friend paid him some extra amount separately. I have never been forced to pay tip like this ever in Canada and this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I can see other posts where customers left reviews that they are forced to pay a tip and the management is pretending to be nice and formal in their reply saying it is not mandatory to protect their restaurant image in Google rev...

I went to this restaurant for lunch today. The combo was alright, but too greasy for my liking. When I went to pay for our meal, I was pressured to leave a tip. The woman taking my payment said it was their policy to include tips. I believe that in a free country, tipping should be a personal choice. I usually tip for good service, but this experience was unpleasant. I added a tip to my card payment, but the staff member said it wasn't enough. My husband ended up giving her cash to satisfy her. It was a terrible experience and ruined my Saturday. I would recommend avoiding this place.

I’ve been here before and it was decent, but the quality has definitely come down. Upon entering, it took 15 minutes to be seated and the restaurant was not even half full. They want to take care of people paying to leave prior to seating new customers leading to a huge lineup. There was also a worker near the front end laying down with his shoes off. Not very appetizing…Finally, they cheap out on some ingredients in their rolls like no crab in their dynamite roll and no sauce with their chicken karage.Overall disappointed and probably wouldn’t go back.
