KIRKFIELD RESTAURANT

We were here Friday for dinner. (June 23). Fish and chips were great. The soup is always homemade and tasty. Friendly owners who cook and serve, along with other staff. Coleslaw is good as well as their coffee.Again there tonight (June 25) for dinner. Great cheese burgers, I have whole wheat bread and Fiance has his on a pita... They are very accommodating. Have had their Peameal bacon on bun many times... Great taste, fresh and good size serving.

We decided to stop here on the way home from a family gathering instead of going for the same old Timmies. It's a smallish cafe with only a few tables. It was fairly busy on the Sunday morning when we went, but it didn't feel crowded at all. The breakfast was delicious, with generous portions for a reasonable price and hot, fresh coffee. The service was very nice and friendly as well. Would go back if we happen to be passing through again.

I stopped at Kirkfield on July 26th around lunch time for a side of chips (more commonly known as french fries) I knew I would not be disappointed, you always find the best chips in those small town restaurants! Add to that the friendliness of the server and the experience is complete. So if you ever find yourself in Kirkfield, be sure you visit them.

Wir würden freundlich empfangen. Der Kaffee kam sofort mit der Speisekarte. Wir hatten den "Great Canadian Burger" mit Pommes und einem kleinen Krautsalat. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Inhaberin hat uns flink und aufmerksam bedient. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt und gut gegessen. Die Rechnung war fair. Ein rundum gelungenes Essen. We brought friends off their boat at the kirkfield lift lock for lunch. Restaurant had a good varied menu. All day breakfast. Good was good, good sized portions and some baked goods available to take back to the boat. A hidden gem.

Stopped by twice this weekend. Fast friendly service, good food and great prices. Love these type of small town diners. Of course the locals all know each other, which adds to the great feel.

We regularly stop on our way to and from the cottage. Love the omelettes! Really friendly staff and very clean, pleasant surroundings. Highly recommend!

The restaurant has great food and the service is good. Not a fancy place by any means just good home cooking. Small but usually you can find a seat. Réservez une table maintenant

Good food!! Friendly service!! You must stop in for fresh cooked food!! The omelettes are great and big!! Yummy!!
