One of the BEST soul food places in the 518! It’s a MUST visit for me. I stopped by on November 13th and they were out of fried wings. They also weren’t serving any cornbread or muffins as sides with the dinners. Unfortunately, they don’t have catfish either. Kitchen 216 is currently in the process of relocating, so perhaps that’s why the menu is limited at the moment.
I tried the shrimp Alfredo mac special from the talented chefs at Kitchen 216, and it was fantastic. You can genuinely see the effort and care they put into every meal, both in the presentation and the flavor. I'm proud to see this establishment thriving on Lark St. If you get a chance, definitely check them out!
I had an amazing experience with the soul food at this restaurant. I ordered the fried chicken wings, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes, and I was absolutely blown away by the flavors. I'm so glad this place has opened, and I'll definitely be dining here regularly!
