We ordered out here during isolation in 2020 and the take out was delectable! I kept trying to get back here ever since-had to sample more from the menu! So years later we are here and sitting in the converted garage- I learned a long time ago that converted garages are often great restaurants! Here's another- young chefs here who aren't afraid of doing some fusion and try something different- sumac Cole slaw with amazing corn bread -moist! Barbecue and kimchi and tacos are some of the choices. I had shrimp and burnt ends kabobs- and shrimp tacos- good stuff! DH had Jail Island salmon witg dill and feta with sweet potato casserole smoked Gouda Mac n cheese and we finished with pumpkin spice...
This spot has really good food, service, and accommodation. My gf is vegan so we got the vegan combo platter and it was perfect! (Tofu,jackfruit,fries,salad) I myself not 100% vegan so still had to get the brisket and sweet potato cheesecake ! The staff was very accommodating and nice ! Zack/zach did a great job! 100% worth the quality, quantity, and price ! A friend and I decided to try a new place this past weekend and we were not disappointed! I got the brisket with Alabama white sauce, smoked sweet potatoes and cucumber and tomato salad. The brisket was the juiciest I’ve ever had and probably the best brisket I have ever had! The smoked sweet potatoes came with perfectly toasted marshmallows and candied walnuts. I’m not usually a fan of walnuts but it really helped make the dish. It gave the sweet to the briskets savory. I highly recommend coming here if you want great bbq and a good atmosphere.
Went here today for brunch for my birthday. Without a doubt the best meal I have had in a long time and I dine out often. Ryan was an amazing server making our experience even better. Ordered the creamed brisket over brioche (their version of chipped beef). Phenomenal. Had their homemade smoked cheesecake with chocolate ganache topping for dessert. Unbelievable. Had a great experience here. Food was great, the menu was vast and various. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined with local art for purchase on the walls and trivial pursuit cards on the tables. Servers were polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Will eat here again.
