I visited the Pacific Northwest to catch up with some friends, and I just had to indulge in some sushi. We ended up at this restaurant, and I couldn't be more pleased. I typically evaluate a sushi place based on the quality of their chirashi sushi and whether they serve fried shrimp heads alongside the sweet shrimp. There was a little mix-up with my sweet shrimp order, but I did receive the shrimp heads along with a few sweet shrimp tails. The rest of the sushi was also fantastic. The prices were quite steep, but I suppose that's to be expected for such quality.
Crispy rice was too dry. Next time I'll order something else. Ordered to go the second time from this place. Decided to order something different this time...so ordered 4 different kind of rolls. When my order got delivered there weren't any soy souce and chopsticks in it......good I had some soy souce at home. The rolls were tasty.
The food was great. Quality and selection of sushi was great. Drink selection was also nice. Wish the server would have come back more often so we didn’t have to wave her down for more beer and wine refills and also the bill (it was not a busy Sunday evening, she was often chatting with other staff members.
The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. I ordered the lunch bento, which included a spicy tuna roll and pork katsu. Unfortunately, the spicy tuna lacked any real spice and was quite bland. Moreover, the pork katsu was served at room temperature rather than warm. Overall, it was just average. Réservez une table maintenant
This place offers the best sushi rolls on the east side. The staff is consistently fantastic, and the daily specials are intriguing and definitely worth a try. They also have excellent cocktails and a nice selection of sake. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.
