"Hey everyone! I ordered a duriz djondjon with oxtail sauce, along with 2 medium plates of fried plantains and griot, plus 3 drinks and some flour, and it all came to $15! But then my total ended up being $98! What happened? The rice was a bit too salty and had a strange sweetness that I didn't like, but the fried plantains and griot were really good. On the bright side, the cashier was super friendly! However, I really feel like they overcharged me!"
I called and ordered rice and mac cheese. I asked if the proportions could be considered on the larger size. I end up getting there and they were confused about my order, I was confused even more. There is no actual menu and you can feel the kitchen tension.The food is great, however there is an issue with miscommunication every time I come here. I don’t feel I got my money’s worth. Total= $20So unfortunate because the food really is delicious.
Anytime I’m craving Haitian food this is the FIRST place I call, nice, family owned business. Portions are always more than enough to eat twice or three times as I get one plate for myself. The owner is extremely nice and caring. My go to Haitian food for sure I haven’t had a bad meal yet!
The service can be off sometimes but that truly doesn't matter once you taste the food haha. They do an amazing job, i highly recommend this place. My boyfriend orders from them at least 3-4 times a week for lunch and they always give out great portions. Check them out! Réservez une table maintenant

The food was overly greasy, and the fried items had an unpleasant odor. My acra smelled like fish.
