The amuse bouche consisted of half-baked rolls that were doused with oil, plus there was a mini bowl of pickled vegetables, a red tomato paste, hummus pureed beyond recognition and mayonnaise. We spent a wonderful evening in the living room on the 1st floor with Spanish guests from the Basque Country, Barcelona, Galicia and Madrid.
