Klösterli Weincafe

Es ist nicht ganz einfach in der Stadt Bern ein Restaurant zu finden, das am Sonntag offen ist und auch noch gut ist. Das Klösterli ist hier eine sehr gute Option. Bei schönem Wetter lässt es sich im Garten gut aushalten. Das Essen ist sehr gut (grosse Auswahl an Salaten und Fleischgerichten) und die Weinauswahl (auch für offene Weine) gross und gut durchdacht. Was den Service betrifft, hatten wir offenbar Glück. Unsere Bedienung war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Was man von ihrer Kollegin (vielleicht sogar Vorgesetzte/Chef de Service) nicht behaupten kann ("rabiat"). Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend bei leckerem Essen und gutem Wein.

Had a great dinner at Klosterli Weincafe. Food was innovative and well executed, and the service was very friendly. In particular, the tomato soup was creative with complementary flavors and textures. The chicken dish was also a standout. The sausage was delicious and clearly homemade. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor terrace and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. For those visiting Bern, this is one of the few restaurants in the city open on Sundays, so highly recommend making a reservation to come here.

Wonderful, historic restaurant, tastefully renovated, loving menu with wonderful meat and vegetarian menus. Rather in the upper price segment, but this can be easily justified by the quality of the performance. Tram depot beer would be a plus in itself. The 2.5dl Herrgöttli (incorrectly advertised as a Stange and sold at this price... without an alternative (4dl or Grosses are a saumode that does not belong in a business that is located in a brewery.

Poor service, very unfriendly and very dissapointing. If you feel not welcome to be a guest, just not a good experience. I asked if I could have a salad as main course- she did not seem to like that idea and what I got was only green leafes and few pumpkin seeds- the most boring salad I ever have eaten. I ordered vegetables in order not to go home hungry and the answer of the waitress: aber das kostet extra . No comment. Réservez une table maintenant

Ich war mehrmals Gast zum Apéro oder Kaffee. Das Lokal und die Terasse sind sehr schön angelegt. Die Preise sind sehr hoch, so kostet z.B. ein hausgemachter 3dl Eistee 5.- (und der war wirklich nicht gut, ein dünnes wässeriges Irgendwas ) oder eine grosse Schale 6.50. Das ist unerhört teuer. Das Servierpersonal ist so naja, sie machen den Job, Gastfreundlichkeit sieht anders aus.

Die Kreationen, anders kann man das fast nicht sagen, sind sehr erlesen und werden auch wunderschön angerichtet. Ich kam in den Genuss des Entrecotes welches in der Kupferpfanne vorbereitet und vom Gast selber auf den Punkt gebracht werden kann. Kann ich bestens weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gemütliche und friedliche Atmosphäre mit freundlicher umsichtiger und ruhiger Bedienung auf schöner Terrasse mit herzlichen Fackeln. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ausgezeichnetes Tartar. Wir kommen wieder,

Vom Ambiente über das Essen bis hin zum Service liess das Klösterli absolut nichts zu wünschen übrig. Ich würde es jederzeit vollstens weiterempfehlen.
