the telephone reservation was very nice and friendly. due to the beautiful summer days was covered in the courtyard. the service is very competent, but easy and very warm. we felt comfortable right away. we chose the 4-course surprise menu, each with fish and meat in the main course. the individual dishes were perfect, both in presentation and taste. very fine and partly unusual compositions, very well hit the spice. we were thrilled. a chardonnay from Austria, which fits perfectly with all, and everything in a very good price/quality ratio. we look forward to the next time.
In a side street off the main thoroughfare in The old town. Modern and very stylish setting. The food is excellent, mostly local and very fresh. There is no vegetarian option on the menu but the kitchen gladly caters for vegetarians and very well. There...is an extensive vine list and knowledgable service. Service was all together very friendly and attentive.
We recently moved to Stade and where looking for a new go-to-place and the Knechthausen quickly became our new favorite. To make it short: this is by far the best place in town. The food and the service is outstanding and unrevaled in Stade. Kudos...to the entire team! Keep it up!
We had a pre orderd 4 Course Menu. All dishes were absolute perfect! The taste was amazing and everything looked Great. We also had a very tasty whine and some nice drinks afterwards. The service was also great. Thank you Fred! I can absolutely recommend...your Restaurant!

my man and I came to eat here. we chose the 3-course menu “Surprise”. we were very impressed by the quality of all three courses. Rabbit terrariums as entree, fish and risotto for main course, apricose and mangostrudel with blueberry and blueberry sorbet. great!
Romantic Place, Very Kind Staff, and the food is really always a Surprise in the positiv way. We choose of course the surprise Meal. Also always available för Vegetarian. Very Very Good Restaurant......for me the best!

the restaurant is overcrowded. eating is okay and the service is terrible. the waitress was disastrous with me and my friends. I don't recommend it.

we sat on a table with high chairs. after an amuse we had good eating friendly served by a waiter with a hat. curieus!
